Asymmetric Encryption or Asymmetric Cryptography: Asymmetric encryption, also known as public-key cryptography, is a form of encryption where keys come in pairs. What one key encrypts, only the other can decrypt. This method enables secure, encrypted communication between parties who have not previously exchanged encryption keys, thus providing a solution to what is known as the key distribution problem. It’s widely used in many types of data exchange and digital signatures.
