Cloud co-lo (co-located) environments: A co-located cloud environment refers to the practice of housing privately owned servers and networking equipment in a third-party data center instead of keeping it on-premises. The data center provides the power, bandwidth, IP address, and cooling systems that the server requires to function optimally, while the client retains full control and responsibility over its own equipment. This model combines the benefits of private infrastructure with the convenience and scalability of a cloud-like environment.
