The CISM Exam will be updated 1 June 2022.
ISACA will have their new book/QAE ready in March 2022.
I will start working on updating my CISM courses for the new exam as soon as get the new curriculum.

Q: If I am studying now, should I take the current or the new exam?
A: I would take the current exam, we don’t know what is changing, and 5 months should be enough to study.
Q: If I am taking the new exam, should I buy new study materials?
A: My courses will be updated in-place, so no need to buy anything new there. As far as the books and test banks, we won’t know until we see the actual changes in March. If the changes are minor maybe not, if they are large, then probably.
Remember you can use the current materials from now until June 1st for the exam.
