A lot of students struggle with the true, false, positives, and negatives.

I think this is as simplified as I can make it. Just logic your way through it a few times and I think that should help. 

True = The system does what it is supposed to.
Positive = A rule was matched.
False = The system does not do what it is supposed to.
Negative = No rule was matched.
