I have always been a gamer.

I bought my first computer at 13, a Commodore-64, I did use for coding but it was primarily a gaming computer.
 
I met my wife on a game in 2000 (Everquest) and I owned an internet café for some years. In the late 90s I played serious e-sports, and I was on top best CounterStrike team in Denmark.
I still game today but now it is more single player games, it just fits better with my work schedule.
