Every year I do my year in review, this year is no different.
Since my birthday was yesterday, I figured today was a good day for the review 🙂
I wanted to start out by congratulating everyone that passed their certification exams in 2023.
I am very proud of you all, and I am honored that you have chosen me to be part of your certification studying.
Every single message or email letting me know that you passed is very appreciated, they make my day better.
I am happy I could help you meet some of your milestones for 2023.
I have collected some of the posts and emails here: https://thorteaches.com/wall-of-love-i-passed-with-thor/
For those of you who did not pass your exams.
Not passing an exam is not the same as failing, failing is giving up. Congratulations on trying, you will do better next time, and we are here to help.
At ThorTeaches.com we also hit a bunch of milestones in 2023:
- More than 33,000 members in our Facebook group, what a tribe 😊
- We now have over 500,000 enrollments in our courses.
- Students watched our videos for 2,000,000+ hours, how wild is that?!?!
- More than 61,000+ reviews with an average of 4.62 star rating on Udemy, thank you for writing them!
- We launched our new practice questions (We started working on those questions in December 2022):
- 1,700 NEW Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) practice questions.
- 3,500 NEW CISSP practice questions.
- 160+ student names were added to the questions.
- Subtitles in English, Spanish (Latin America), French, Arabic, Chinese, and Hindi were added to all our CISSP, CISM, and CC courses.
- Our chatbots are really done, we are just waiting for 1 fix from the designer, should be within a week or two.
- Our Glossary is mostly done, we are working on the last quality checks, I think they should be out in 2 weeks or so (this work started in March 2023).
- The Flashcards will take a little longer, my guess is 4-6 weeks.
2023 has also been yet ‘another’ weird year, this time with health issues for both my wife and I, we are both slowly getting better.
I appreciate everyone’s understanding of family and health being most important and work is less so 🙂
Your support and generosity of spirit created this incredible space we share.
What I am trying to say is.
Thank you everyone,
Thor
