Today we celebrate and give thanks to custodians.
They tirelessly clean our offices, schools, and so many other places.
Thank you for that.
I remember my father-in-law who was a custodian, he took such pride in his work, his floors were so shiny you could see your reflection in them. He wanted the students at the school to have a place that was spotless they could learn in.
It reminds me of the janitor at NASA.
When asked by President John F. Kennedy “What are you doing?”.
The janitor answered “I’m helping put a man on the moon.”
He did.
