These devices can be used both in the office and outside the office as part of the organization's network infrastructure. MDM tools can enforce policies for data security, conduct remote management like device wiping in case of loss or theft, and offer inventory management functions.

Mobile Site in Disaster Recovery: A mobile site in disaster recovery refers to a fully equipped and readily transportable facility that organizations can deploy swiftly to resume critical operations after a primary site has been compromised by a disaster. These mobile units generally include essential IT infrastructure, communication systems, and even office amenities. The use of mobile sites is an integral part of a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy, ensuring business continuity and minimal operational downtime.

Model: A representation of a system or concept that is used to simplify and understand complex ideas or processes. Where it is used in various fields, including computer science and engineering, to aid in the understanding and design of systems. Examples -a mathematical model, a conceptual model, and a physical model.

Modem: A hardware device that enables computers to transmit data over communication lines or wireless signals. This process involves converting digital signals into analog signals (modulation) for transmission and then back into digital signals (demodulation) upon receipt. By facilitating data transmission, modems play a vital role in internet connectivity and the network's overall integrity and performance.

Mode of Operation: The way in which a cryptographic algorithm is used to protect data. It determines how the algorithm processes the data and can have a significant impact on the security of the resulting ciphertext. Examples include electronic codebook (ECB) mode, cipher block chaining (CBC) mode, and counter (CTR) mode.
